This Privacy Policy explains how Ajonic (“Ajonic”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit ajonic.com, create an account, use AI Employees, workflows and exports, contact us, or buy a plan. Ajonic is responsible for this information and can be reached at the address at the end of this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: name, email address, password (stored only as a one-way hash), workspace name, role, team memberships, profile photo and preferences.
- Your content: briefs and prompts, files, images, website addresses, brand assets, project documents, workflow instructions, chat messages and everything the AI Employees produce for you. Your content may include personal information about other people.
- Usage and device information: tasks run, credits used, feature usage, timestamps, IP address, browser and device type, and error logs.
- Billing records: plan, subscription status, invoices and payment references. Card details are collected and stored by Paddle, our payment provider; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Support and contact messages: what you send us by email, phone or the contact form.
- Cookies and browser storage: described in our Cookie Policy.
2. How we use information
We use information to create and run your account and workspace; carry out the AI work you ask for; let your team collaborate; process payments and invoices; measure usage and apply plan limits and credits; prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access; answer support requests; fix problems and improve reliability; meet legal obligations; and send service emails such as invitations and password resets. We send marketing emails only where the law allows, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
3. AI processing
To complete a task, the relevant prompts, files, website content and context are sent to the AI and search providers listed below, which process them to return a result. The business API terms of our AI providers do not allow them to train their models on this data. We do not use your content to train AI models. Within your own workspace, Ajonic keeps short notes from your feedback (“AI learning”) so your AI Employees follow your preferences; these notes are never shared with other workspaces. AI output can be wrong — please review it before publishing or relying on it.
4. Legal bases and your responsibilities
Where a legal basis is required, we process information to provide the service you signed up for, for our legitimate interests (keeping the service secure, preventing fraud and improving it), to comply with the law, or with your consent (for example optional analytics cookies). If you upload personal information about your clients, staff, leads or others, you must have the right to do so and give them any notice the law requires. Businesses that need a data processing agreement can request one at contact@ajonic.com.
5. Who we share information with
We share only what each provider needs to do its job:
- Render — website and application hosting.
- MongoDB Atlas — database.
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI text generation for AI Employees, websites, audits and chat.
- OpenAI and Magnific — AI images, icons and short videos.
- Unsplash — stock photos for websites.
- Tavily and Serper — web search for research and sources.
- Google PageSpeed Insights — page speed measurements in website audits.
- Resend — transactional email (invitations, password resets, contact messages).
- Paddle — payments, invoicing and sales tax, as merchant of record.
- Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics / Tag Manager and Meta — website analytics and advertising measurement, when enabled.
We also share information with services you connect or export to yourself (such as Figma, Shopify or Unbounce), when the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business under equivalent protections. We do not sell personal information.
6. International transfers
Our providers are located in, and may process information in, the United States, the European Union and other countries outside India. We use providers that protect data under contractual commitments, such as standard contractual clauses where those apply.
7. How long we keep information
We keep your account and content while your account is active. When you close your account or ask us to delete it, we delete or anonymise your information within 30 days; copies in backups are removed within a further 30 days. We keep invoices and billing records for as long as Indian tax law requires (currently up to 8 years), and security logs for up to 12 months. Please download anything you need before closing your account.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, object to or restrict some processing, and withdraw consent. Email contact@ajonic.com from your account email address; we reply within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity. Content in a workspace owned by another organisation is controlled by that organisation, so we may refer you to its owner. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Security
We protect information with the measures described on our Security page. No online service can promise perfect security; if a breach affects your personal information we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
10. Children
Ajonic is a business service for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children; if you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new effective date, and email account owners about important changes before they apply.
